Super J aka JonnyC came to the first round of the Winter League to filme the lads (and me) doing their thing. The result is our first Vidcast of the team.

Excuse the fact that I'm not on my team bike. The excuse is I actually hadn't planned to race on the day and it was a last minute thing, also my race bike is STILL not finished (Blame Pete!).

Well, it's the end of an era here at RC: Avid brakes, for us at least are no more! Shimano is our new king. This might come as a surprise to a lot as we've been considered the Avid brake shop for years, but times and brands (and suppliers) change, so we have to as well. First off i guess then is our explantation of why we are dropping Avid. Two words: Quality and supply.    more »

Dirt Mag is one of the only "grass roots" MTB mags today, once glance thru the mag and you immediately know it's put together by riders not some faceless publishing corp. that's run by accountants.

So getting the team launch covered by them is all the more important to us and the boys. Cheers guys. 

Sunday 14th January saw the opening race of the 2007 Irish DH season with round one of the Chain Reaction Cycles Winter League. Held at Moneyscalp forest, the inaugural home of official DH racing in Northern Ireland this season opener always sees a good turn out with most of the sponsored Irish international riders still at home and keen to prove they are still the best.    more »

Its been another manic few days in the workshop for me this week. I've got gear cables coming out my nose, and my first two fingers are practically dissolved with hydraulic fluid - I still can't bring myself to wear those latex gloves that are sitting in the back cupboard.... And while I've been preoccupied with getting our custumers riding in time for the weekend, the Winter Series had been sneaking up. In fact, we're due to go racing this Sunday.
